I thought Berry was my last fair for this year but I am now also going to be at the Robertson Antiques and Collectibles Fair in the Southern Highlands on the 19 and 20 November. It is being held in the School of Arts, Robertson from 9am on the 19th and 10am on the 20th.
As many of you know I have been travelling overseas for the last six weeks and have gathered together some beautiful and interesting pieces. I have bought Birmingham silver, sterling silver and glass perfume bottles, Waterford and Stuart crystal glasses, Irish linen and Royal Doulton Christmas figurines and porcelain. There is sure to be something that will catch your eye and you must have.
Just think Christmas will only be about four weeks away after the fair and you could do all your Christmas shopping in one place. I will have pieces from very inexpensive to a little more expensive depending on your budget there will be something for everyone.
We had a great weekend in Berry. It was lovely to see some of my dedicated clients who come by to see me every fair and I met some new friends who are collectors as well. I did a little shopping in Berry as I stayed on the Sunday night to have a look around the village before venturing home on Monday. I was so glad we had stayed on the Sunday night as the rain poured down just as everyone was packing to leave. … But not a drop on us!
Berry is my last fair until January. I will be showing my antiques at the Kiama Antique Fair on the 21 and 22 January. I will have plenty of new stock as I am going overseas for a holiday soon and will be doing a little bit of buying!
if you would like me to browse for anything in particular, just let me know and I’ll see what I can find. You can contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org
These were some of my pieces I had displayed at the Fair. Royal Albert Lady Carlyle teapot, shell pink, pearl lustre dessert bowls, tall Delft vase, Krosno studio glass decorative piece and Minton coffee set in pale pink.
This tea set was made by Shelley in England. I have four trios, cake plate and creamer and sugar. It is in perfect condition and would grace any table. Just beautiful. The colour is more a blue than is shown here . This is a rare pattern with very few sets available. I will be taking this to Berry antique Fair on the 17 and 18 September.
My next fair is being held in Berry on the beautiful south coast of NSW in the School of Arts Hall, Alexandria Street, Berry. The dates are Saturday 17 September (10am to 5.00pm and Sunday 18 September, 10am to 4.00pm). Why not come for the day or the weekend? There is so much to do in Berry. There is a great vibe in the village during the weekends.
I have new stock that will be on display including green depression glass butter keepers (so hard to find these days! ), sparkling crystal wine glasses, crystal decanters and crystal water jugs, antique trios from all the famous makers, Royal Doulton figurines including the rare Sunday Morning, mother of pearl handled knives and excellent quality Art Deco silver coffee and tea sets?
I have exquisite linen tablecloths that I will be bringing as well. Cloths like these should take pride of place on beautifully set dining tables?
Over the next few weeks I will post some of the new pieces I will be taking to Berry.
This weekend is the Camden Antique Fair at the Camden Civic Centre, Oxley St, Camden. It is a great fair! I can’t wait to see my new and old friends. I will have a variety of antiques for sale including crystal decanters, Stuart crystal glasses, fine china duos and trios from all the famous makers including Shelley, Royal Albert, and Royal Staffordshire, figurines from Coalport and Royal Doulton some rare collector’s pieces, silver, and many more pieces. I have the Kate Greenaway figurines which are just adorable and the Royal Crown Derby Treasures of Childhood pieces. I will also be bringing my collection of antique linens including tablecloths, an Edwardian Christening gown, table runners, pillow shams.
There’s sure to be something you will want to cherish and keep.
Looking forward to seeing you at the fair,
I’m preparing for the next fair at Camden. It is being held 5th, 6th and 7th August. It is being held in the Camden Civic Centre, Oxley Street, Camden. I have attended this fair for quite a few years now and always have a lovely time meeting everyone.
Just to make it more exciting I have just had some new deliveries. A big box arrived from the UK with some lovely pieces including Royal doulton character dogs, figurines, Royal Winton, some of the earliest Royal Doulton series ware to name just a few!
I have also been busy buying more beautiful pieces at auction from here and overseas that I hope you’ll just love. In this selection I have some Royal Albert teapots and coffee pots, a beautiful French decanter, some Royal Doulton figurines, ..what do you think?…. Worth coming for a look?
I thought I would show you some photos of my stall I had at Blackheath Antique Fair. As I indicated in my previous post it was cold! Two pairs of socks was what it took to keep my feet warm during the weekend. In the first photo a Stuart Crystal compote takes pride of place, Stuart ‘barrel glasses’ are displayed on a beautiful silver plate Rodd tray, a silver plate five piece coffee and tea set can be seen in the background and a stunning cobalt blue trio.
Do you like… LOVE…any of these? Contact me by email if you would like to buy anything on my site.
